SVG to PNG

Render SVG logos and icons to crisp transparent PNGs at original, 2× or 4× size.

Runs in your browser. Files and text you add here are processed on your own device with JavaScript and are not uploaded to our server. Some tools download a free open-source library (for example PDF.js or QPDF) from a public CDN the first time you use them. Very large files depend on your device's memory.

SVG logos scale perfectly on websites, but plenty of places won't take them: social media profile uploads, Microsoft Word on some setups, email signatures, app store listings and most print-on-demand services. They want a PNG.

This tool renders SVG files to PNG in your browser at the size you choose — original, 2×, 4× or half — with the transparent background kept. Because SVG is vector, a 2× or 4× export is genuinely sharper, not an upscaled blur.

It is built for the everyday job of turning a logo, icon or illustration into a bitmap without opening Illustrator or Inkscape.

The difference between vector and bitmap matters here. An SVG is a set of drawing instructions — lines, curves and fills — so it has no fixed pixel size. A PNG is a grid of pixels. The moment you convert, you are choosing that grid, which is why the size option exists: pick it for where the image will be used, not for how big the SVG looked on screen. A favicon, a 400 px profile picture and an A4 print need very different grids.

How It Works

  1. Add SVG files — the tool reads the XML, finds the drawing size from the width/height or viewBox attributes, and fills in a sensible default if neither is set.
  2. Render with the browser's SVG engine — the same renderer that draws SVGs on web pages rasterizes your file onto a transparent canvas at the scale you picked.
  3. Save as PNG — the canvas is encoded as a 32-bit PNG. Batches download as a ZIP.

Compatibility & Support

Supported Input → Output Formats

  • Input: .svg files (SVG 1.1 and SVG 2 features supported by modern browsers)
  • Output: .png with transparency at 0.5×, 1×, 2× or 4× the SVG's declared size
  • Also possible: JPG or WebP output through the Image Converter

Unsupported Formats

For security, browsers render SVGs loaded this way without external resources. An SVG that links to separate image files or web fonts by URL will render without them — text falls back to a system font. Convert text to outlines in your design app first if exact typography matters.

Scripts and animations inside the SVG don't run; you get a still image of the initial state. SVGZ (gzipped SVG) must be unzipped first.

File Size Limits

Up to 50 SVG files per batch, 60 MB each. The rendered PNG is limited to about 50 megapixels, so a 4× export of a very large artboard may need the 2× option instead.

Who Should Use This Tool?

  • Students: A student adding a university crest to a thesis cover converts the official SVG to a high-resolution PNG that Word handles reliably.
  • Freelancers & Designers: A logo designer delivers PNG variants at 1× and 4× alongside the SVG master so the client can upload them anywhere.
  • Office Professionals: A marketing assistant turns SVG icons from the brand kit into PNGs for an email newsletter, since many email clients block SVG.
  • Developers: A developer generates PNG fallbacks and app-store screenshots from SVG assets without adding a rasterization library to the build.

Key Features / Khusoosiyat

Here's what separates this tool from generic alternatives:

🔍

Sharp at Any Scale

Export at 2× or 4× for retina screens and print without blur.

🫥

Transparent Background

Logos stay cut out — no white box behind them.

📐

Smart Sizing

Reads width, height or viewBox to find the right dimensions.

📦

Batch + ZIP

Convert a whole icon set at once.

🔒

Private

Files are rendered in your browser, never uploaded.

🛡️

Safe Rendering

External links and scripts in the SVG are not executed.

Why This Tool Beats the Alternatives

  • Real vector re-rendering at higher scales, not pixel upscaling.
  • No design software, plug-ins or command-line tools needed.
  • Nothing uploaded — useful for unreleased logos and client work.
  • Free batch conversion without an account or watermark.
  • Transparent output by default.

Pro Tips

  • For social profile pictures, export at 2× and then use Crop Image with the 1:1 preset.
  • If text looks wrong in the PNG, the SVG relies on a web font. Outline the text in Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape before converting.
  • Icons that will be shown at 24 px still look best when exported at 48 or 96 px and scaled down by the browser.

Drop your SVG files above and download crisp PNGs at the size you need.
